I would say that whatever you hear you should first know exactly where that info applies and exactly what the timing of that info is.

I'm in Palm Beach Country where lots and lots of commercial activity is closed totally and plenty more has curtailed hours and/or services.

I can't say what's going on all over Florida -  big state geographically, big population that's dense in some areas, sparse in others.  Seems to me what's true in one area may not be true elsewhere, but isn't that the case in many states?

My friend who lives in South Walton County, FL (Santa Rosa Beach) said Seaside is closed until end of April. Apparently springbreakers didn't honor sensible practices and it made locals nervous. Good on Seaside officials.

Florida Gov. DeSantis, just ordered ALL bars and nightclubs across Florida to shut down at 5 PM today for next 30 days.

My mother just texted me that she and her husband just got tossed because the bars were shut down.  They are two unhappy drunks.  🤣
