My beautiful, sweet kitty let me brush her without tearing my hand off or scratching my eyes out.

one of my 22 month old grand daughters calling me by my name in that sweet angelic voice .

My SweetieBear dh and I were outside and noticed that our beautiful hibiscus plant had 21 full gorgeous blooms on it. It almost always has some and sometimes many, but never 21 all at once. So that made us smile and he took a picture of it, of course.
That was yesterday. Today when I saw the picture, I noticed our cute Zuma Girl (just her head and sweet face) way down in the corner of the shot. Another smile! I'll see if I can make it a little smaller and post it...

My arthritis caused me to have to take a pain pill today and my dear sister came over with a pretty little bunch of flowers in a glass vase. Made me happy.

I grew up with these guys and was always the only girl around. It was highly unusual back then to have a girl in a band. At least locally. They always had my back.
It was amazing how all the years simply fell away and the care we each had for the other came back like we had seen each other yesterday. Hugs and kisses all around. And a promise to stay much closer.
Oh, that must have been fun. I dated a guy in high school that had what was called a basement band, several guys just sitting around playing. and singing. Doubt that anybody ever paid them to perform
Sounds like your band was quite a bit more professional - and successful. I do hope you say close, any chance you will play again together?

Oh, please try and post it. That would make ME smile, for sure. We have regular hibiscus here, the ones that are on a bush - white or pink or lavender. Like Rose of Sharon blooms, only the bushes are smaller and the stalks die back to the ground each year. They only bloom in the early cool part of the day.
