My nephew and his kids stopped by just to say hello and give me a hug. Can't get any more simple. Not just a smile, a big smile.

Several things but I will share one - sitting across from my husband at dinner out last night. I know I grace his table but he also blesses mine.

That would make me smile as well, deep. Thank you notes are becoming a rarity. I sent out three fifty dollar checks to children of acquaintances (not family). Got not ONE thank you. Didn't know they had gotten the checks until they cashed them

Seeing my neighbor ride her turquoise 1950's era bicycle on the boardwalk this morning. (She would say she's 'circa 1930's...lol.)

Aww, how sweet. We have a great granddaughter that turned one in March. She is such a little character. Enjoy the party !

Received a call this morning from my sis in law, while at the gym. This is the first time I've talked and walked (treadmill) but my sis had great news. She has now lost 40 pounds and is wearing size 12 pants. Ten more pounds to go! She's been heavy since age 30 and it's a joy to see her tackle something that's made her so unhappy. She's shopping today!

That would have been neat to see indeed ! (And while I am here, let me say how much I love your upbeat posts about how much you love your husband, your home, your life). Wonderful to read.
