A newborn, healthy and beautiful, what more do we need to make us smile? Oh, a great name to go along with it ! Congrats to all. Wishing Lucca Jet a life that is all he hopes it to be. Smile

No way ! How exciting. We are expecting a new grandson the end of October so I can share your joy with you. Let us know when the baby is born, okay? Smile

My husband told me I am getting good at watercolor painting.

A little back story. I get many compliments on my handwriting/art but I don't appreciate it as others do--primarily because I know what I have to do to achieve the outcome. I am a very orchestrated (almost rigid) writer/artist. I long to become more free and flowy with my work and believe watercolor will help me.

His compliment means a lot! {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Well, that was a nice compliment, I admire your talent. Are you trying to paint watercolors like the Impressionist painters, the lilyponds, etc? That truly seems like flowy work, doesn't it?

Thanks, minky. I have not delved into impressionist painting, yet. I am basically using my painting as an exercise in being a more free and fluid person (in many aspects of my life!).

Our Grands spent the day (and last night) with us.

Bet you all enjoyed that! Are they little ones? We had two kids in the office last week, maybe 4 and 5 years old. They were, shall we say, very active? Cute as could be but I had to hide every single thing on my desk from their little hands {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Bet you all had a lot of fun!

I agree, that thread is smile-worthy for sure. Do you have any cats of your own, Tinkrbl?

We have one big, fat , spoiled, tiger striped gray tabby named, well, Tiger {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

My husband and I went to Savannah to visit my father at the personnel care home (it is like an assisted living), he saw us and had a big smile on his face, we took him to Burger king for hamburger and fries. He has dementia but we had a good time together for an hour, he seem very happy and content when we took him back. I thank god everyday for the people that take care of him, he can be a handful.

Aww, tashy, I am so happy your dad had such a good outing with you and your husband. Savannah is a beautiful city, isn't it? I join you in thanking God for the good people who care for your dad and others who need their service. Bless him, bless them, and bless you {#emotions_dlg.wub}
