Woman In Love by Barbra Streisand.

Also, ran across a PBS station where they were featuring old time songs.

Playing a Johnny Mathis song, which was heavenly.  Listen to some of his beautiful, heart-felt songs.......

@ROMARY  OMG...I get chills just thinking about that tune!

Re: What is one of your favorite songs

One song that always comes to mind for me is 'I Am a Rock' by Simon and Garfunkel.     Don't take every bit of it 100% literally, but it speaks to me a fair amount.  Plus, I always loved S & G anyway.  Smiley Happy

I AM A ROCK

A winter's day
In a deep and dark December
I am alone
Gazing from my window to the streets below
On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow
I am a rock I am an island

I've built walls
A fortress deep and mighty
That none may penetrate
I have no need of friendship friendship causes pains
It's laughter and it's loving I disdain
I am a rock I am an island

Don't talk of love
Well I've heard the word before
It's sleeping in my memory
I won't disturb the slumber of feelings that have died
If I never loved I never would have cried
I am a rock I am an island

I have my books
And my poetry to protect me
I am shielded in my armor
Hiding in my room safe within my womb
I touch no one and no one touches me
I am a rock I am an island

And a rock feels no pain
And an island never cries

Eric Clapton "wonderful tonight" , it was our wedding song Smiley Happy

@LindaSal  That was our song, too. We had a band of my husband’s classmates and they did an excellent job. Sounded just like the Eric Clapton version. We let them pick the song for our first dance. I used to have long blonde hair so I thought that was special with those lyrics. 🙂

@SoCal BredAlways and Forever (originally by Heatwave).  Check them out on youtube to see if you like the original version by them.  I like to compare covers. I usually wind up liking both.

@deepwaterdotter

We do "YMCA" at every water exercise class! With gestures!

It's not my favorite song, but it's good, clean fun. LOL
