What will Miley do now? She's determined to be as be as "out there" and controversial as possible, just like Ms. Kart Rashian. How will she compete with this?

It's a mystery that as far as I'm concerned can remain unsolved. I find her utterly uninteresting, unappealing and no, she is not now nor will she ever be an 'icon'. She hasn't done anything, or for that matter, anyone... that would put her anywhere even remotely near that level.

I think she just has a drive to be at the top of her own particular heap, best at whatever it is she does. I think the drive is pretty common. Some people want to be the fastest runner or the highest climber or the richest investor, etc. I get all that.

What I don't understand much at all is why the public is so, so willing to buy into Kim and/or what she offers. That's my why?

Forgot to note that no, having an, uh, wide load... and flashing it... does not qualify one as an icon. If so, I think we all run into 'icons' regularly...

Get real, people and stop pretending that you don't who KK is or how she got famous and incredibly wealthy. This fake "shock" is just plain silly. For heavens sake, the woman started her "career" with a sx tape and went on to make her and her entire family very famous and very, very rich. And I do not fault her for that. I personally don't see anything wrong with the human body and the both pictures a beautiful and obviously meant to be funny and whimsical. She's a gorgeous woman amazing physical "assets" and she's also an astute business woman. Her "job" is being famous, her "job" requires her to be in magazines and newspapers, her "job" depends on being a wild and crazy Kardashian. Otherwise, who would watch those silly reality shows. I this this magazine cover exceeded everyones expections. I don't think Kim ever expected as much publicity over a shiny butt. I read that Kim made $17 million dollars last year and look who she's married to. Obviously, she didn't do tha cover shot for money. She did it for publicity and she scored, big time! The only thing that surprised me is that no one commented on how much "liberty" they too with her torso and waist. They obviously digitally slimmed and lengthened her torso to make the butt more prominent.

Yeah, she expected the publicity, hence the #breaktheinternet moniker. She's a smart businesswoman...yeah, she knew.

As for digitally altering the photos, I posted this on another thread, but the photographer's (Jean Paul Goude) signature is stretching out & over exaggeration of the image. Her images are spot on. (Sorry, Eve...didn't mean to repeat..was writing this when you posted)

I have no idea why she does this or what her motivation is. Would probably take someone with a degree in psychology/psychiatry and a history of treating her to know for sure.

I just call it exhibitionism and leave it at that. She just has a drive/need to show off her body to strangers.
