Re: What is just not worth it to you?

Forgot to add, I do not purchase over the top fancy appliances, just more bells and whistles to go wrong.

Re: What is just not worth it to you?

I buy some clothing here, but have had to give up buying Jewelry which was my main purchases in the past. Lowing quality, adding resin/PVC/silicone filled gold and silver has turned me off. I don't buy bronze/plate-clad so most all items are very little is left to buy. I can buy well made heavy cast gold at other vendors so my funds are spent there instead of here. They made their buying choices what to sell their customers and left many of us little choice but to leave.

By the way, When you spend hundreds of dollars to buy jewelry for gifts, plastic bags instead of a box for the jewelry is a turn off. I used to by/ship to, option for gifts, but since the presentation is terrible this is no longer an option. Getting used jewelry sent with broken, dirty , scratched merchandise shows they can't be trusted to by and ship as gifts either.

Re: What is just not worth it to you?

I love Le Creuset pots and have a small and a medium one, not purchased at QVC.

I want a large one, but it is just too much money. I almost caved and bought the 'goose pot' on Easy Pay Anniv. Day, but it...seemed like too much money for a sometime kitchen tool.

Le Creuset has seconds for sale at 40% off in June each year at their outlet stores, but June is a very busy month for me, and I've never yet been able to get down to the outlet nearest me. I thought it would happen this year, no luck with that.

I will buy one someday, but I think a second I look at very carefully will be a better buy. I am also picky about the color, I like the original flame-orange color and like to keep to that. Probably it's not in the outlet store anyway.

I've never cooked a goose, incidentally, and wouldn't use it for that. But I have a huge extended family and could see it coming out of the cupboard several times a year.

Many of the so-called high-end skin care & make-up brands (Perricone, etc), WEN, Judith Ripka. Not judging anyone else for buying any of these products; just not for me, that's all.
