Driving to work this morning the forecast for today was on and after the rain chances but before the temps. for the day I changed the channel. Do not like to hear how hot it will be even in May. My mind went straight to Oct. weather. So my plan for the summer is stay as calm and chill as possible with triple deg. on a daily basis in Texas.

Oh yes need to add going to a wedding Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend, the daughter of a very old friend is getting married

We are passing on our usual trip to Aruba this year.We are redoing a room which will end up costing a lot. Instead we'll be taking several short trips.We're thinking about Lancaster PA,Atlantic City NJ,Boston MA.,& NYC.

Retirement is my permanent vacation. Staying home witih Story and Sedona is all I need - taking walks, working in yard, exercising, lunch with friends, maybe a trip to an herb farm for lunch.

I am going to be a first time Mother of the Groom this summer!

One bridal shower down, one coming up soon. I am presently working on the rehearsal dinner decor and guest list, which I am hosting.

No vacay budget this year!

For the past couple of years, my health has been if-fy, no need to make plans, just to cancel them. But so far so good this summer. I do like to work in my yard. I have a lot of plans but the "flesh is weak" so I'll see how much I actually get done. I'm trying to grow a couple of fig trees and I just purchased 2 blackberry bushes.

I'm not a casino person, but I was invited to a free 2-day trip and I have no reason to say no. A friend goes often enough to have room & meal comps and I'm sure I wasn't first on the list of invitees, but there I go! I'll do a lot of people watching and hit the buffet. Hope there are plenty of King Crab legs.

There's a little water park in my town, I actually worked there a few years ago. It's not huge like a 6 Flags which makes it nice. not terribly crowded. I hope to go there at least once or twice. I like going in the evening, when it's not so hot. Want to take the little grandsons.

I'm kind of a homebody but my job is so stressful and my commute long, I really need a vacation sometimes, if only for a change of scenery. I have 2 cats & a dog so I don't like to stay gone long anyway.

Everybody needs something to look forward to.

Already have my vacation in. We get out before school lets out and most people travel. Spent 4 days in a log cabin in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Beautiful scenery. Mountains and trees.

Went to Roswell, also. LOL
