Looked like the kid was ready to smack the kitty twice before kitty tackled him. Hope the kid learned not to do that again.

Apparently something had happened prior to filming, or they wouldn't have had the camera trained on the baby and the cat - this filming looks very deliberate to me. And whoever did it should have their head examined. Sorry, but this is wrong, for the cat and the baby!

You always hear stories of how cats can be jealous of new babies so when we brought my daughter home from the hospital, we laid her on the couch and let the cat walk all around her sniffing her. He loved her - he would sleep under her crib and if anyone came into the house, he ran by her bed as if to protect her.

Then came the day she started to crawl. He was walking right along side of her crawling and I saw it about to happen but could just not get there fast enough. She reached out and grabbed his tail. The outcome of the story is he never came out from his hiding place whenever she was up and about. Even when she was older and knew enough not to pull a cat's tail, he would never come out. The second he knew she was in bed, out came the cat. That lasted the rest of his life - she was a teenager but he would never go near her again.
