Does anyone know? I have personal reasons for asking as we are in a time crunch and may have to consider this....

Who knows? She had 102 responses to her initial post with people later asking for an update. She never responded whatsoever.

Unless you have someone you can completely trust--NOT a realtor--to give honest and comprehensive information, I would never buy real estate without seeing it in person.

Aren't you the one that was unhappy about moving? Can't you rent for a couple months or even stay at a motel? I can't think of anything more important. We have friends who spent one year looking and finally agreed to one because of pressure from their kids. It turned out that house backed up to a gravel pit and they spend nine months a year listening to those trucks loading up at 4:00 in the morning.
Edit: I would have had a few choice words for my realtor.

@kittyloolives in a small Town and really seems to love her house.
Don't remember the Title of the Thread where she talked about it.

@depglass it seems as if that's what @BoopOMatic and her DH have been doing. I think she said they are usually gone for years so buying is a lot better than paying rent.

I used to assist in recruiting physicians for a medical group. A large percentage of the ones coming from out of state chose to rent the first year so that they wouldn't have to committ to buying in neighborhoods they were not familiar with.
They usually would only come down the two times we paid for it and not spend their own money to come down and look at houses longer before their job with us started.
They would then take time within their first year working for us to buy or build. Renting makes sense under pressure.

Yeah..... because what could possibly go wrong with that?
