I think someone else mentioned this too..... but I've noticed that the cardboard cores on TP are bigger around than they used to be.  It might look like there are more sheets on a roll, but really it's the bigger core that makes the roll look bigger.

Hey!  if I could buy those "forever" rolls at my supermarket, I would!  It might be a little embarrassing putting that giganzo 6-pk on the checkout conveyor, but so worth it!

I found a mega roll of Brawny paper towels at my local grocery store. It's 240 sheets and is close to six inches in diameter.

JMO...when I first seen the concept of the MEGA roll TP my brain went right to wow some lazy people out there lol  I am all for the double roll but the MEGA to me should be used commercially.....remember when TP came in colors to match our bathroom decor? loved that!
