@MaggieMack, I agree..  I am very concerned about the poofing of threads being poofed..   Sorry to the OP of that thread, I mentioned ice cream and it was actually fun...

Oh, not to worry, @Suziepeach!  I posted that thread just to relieve my own frustrations and it worked, got a ton of posts, and truly the thread had run its course. I felt bad because I thought a word I had used in a different thread got that thread poofed, but upon examination it was poofed because the thread was considered a re-start of a deleted thread.

@MaggieMack, I thought it was my fault with the turkey leg, LOL ...  I thought I read where several posters had taken it off original topic..  I mean can't we talk about more than one thing on threads.. they need to make a list of what we can and can not talk about, other than religion and politics..

I'm still here! My shift is during normal business hours but I am a bit of a work-a-holic so it is not unusual for me to login in during the evening or over the weekend. My job is to make the Community experience the best it can be and increase the participation. Which means I have a lot of work to do with our technical engineers behind-the-scenes to address problems you have with the platform today.

Thanks to others in this thread for the kind words about me. It is always nice to be liked!  Though you might like me less than the moderation team if you knew I am one of the few "responsible" for the overall Community experience.

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

Agreed... The seemingly precipitous poofing of what was nothing more than a handful of harmless, humorous posts felt uneven, unnecessary, a bit humorless and frankly a bit arrogant... There was no discussion of political or religious subject matter and while there was a tad of sarcasm involved, 'the standards' would not appear to have been violated... The actions felt unduly harsh.
