There has been a lot of talk the past few years about "judging" on these boards. The word pops up a lot. According to what I understood about the word and it's Biblical use when I was brought up it means saying someone is going against God, or amoral, or making comments about the state of someone's soul--things about them you couldn't know because you don't know their heart and soul, which only God can assess.
I often see it used here to mean saying something is right or wrong--assess an action not the state of a soul. To my thinking and upbringing, its ok to "judge" right from wrong, and that's not the meaning of the "judge not least you be judged" admonition.
Anyone want to weigh in and toss this thought around? I'm not judging--just asking! LOL!!! I don't want to argue--just know how different people see it.
