My stylist is expensive but he's never given me a bad cut. I'm very happy when I leave the salon each time. I also only get highlights 2x a year....no other color.

I get my hair cut every 6 weeks and I last  had highlights in May. I plan on getting highlights again early in November.

Cuts are $90.00 and highlights vary between $65.00-$100.00 depending on if you get a face frame or full head.

@haddon9   same pricing .    face frame of course much cheaper .  I only get full head twice a year ,  bleach is hard on hair .  Lately getting a glaze after highlights and it makes my hair so soft and manageable while giving a nice shine .

Every 6-7 weeks I pay $50 for a cut.  I am not crazy about the actual haircut but I enjoy the woman's personality.  It's the dog's grooming that is costly but that cost is inescapable.

Food prices rocketed upwards during the pandemic.

Oh boy, isn't that the truth?!  I pay $130 (before tip) every 3 months to my dogs groomer.  And then there are the times that she feels he needs extra time for de-tangling or extra time for brushing and that pushes the cost up even higher!

Re: 🤔What does it cost for a cut/color at your salon?

The last two times I've had a cut I went to Super Cuts and it was 20.00 plus a tip. I've been happy with the cut. The stylist I use to go to had to raise her prices which I totally understand.  I don't color anymore so that helps.

I get my hair cut and highlights three times a year for about $90 plus tip. I give my hair trims as needed.

Seems like the cost has gone up more than groceries. 🥴

Speaking of groceries do you remember when you had to put $200 worth of groceries in your trunk…

AND now $200 worth fits in your passenger seat. 😳

@RescueLover   oh I know ,  what used to be 8 bags are now 3 if I'm lucky !!   And I say to myself what the heck did I even by for the amount of money that would have included meat !  Your right passenger side !

I get mine cut at Great Clips, for $16, every 3-4 months. I'm 69 years old and have never colored my hair.

I have never spent $200 on one grocery trip.

Re: 🤔What does it cost for a cut/color at your salon?

I just moved to Mass from FL--I was warned prices would be higher - - - but

my color and cut in Florida was 150.  And in Mass the price was $95.  I tried Supercuts at the mall where I grocery shop. . .and I love it: great staff, very good at their jobs but also friendly.  It would have been cheaper still if I'd remembered I'm retired: there's a discount for customers over 65.

One of my brothers swears by Supercuts, and I guess I am joining the cult.

In June I had full highlights and a trim and it was about $200. It is now September and I can hardly tell it was highlighted. I don't think I will do it again.

Re: 🤔What does it cost for a cut/color at your salon?

It depends on your location. City salons MEGA BUCKS. Im in a smaller area and it's still expensive. A cut and color probably 100.00 or more if you get a style and blow out too.

For me it would be very 6 to 8 weeks.

Ugh.
