Re: 🤔What does it cost for a cut/color at your salon?

[ Edited ]

I have been seeing mine since 1996 and have only given her cash for my cut and colors the entire time.  Much appreciated by her.  I give her a $100.00 bill each time I go in.  It was of course less way back in '96. She does a blowout of my below the waist hair as well.

I was in there last Saturday and her 10 year old GD was waiting for her to finish up with me so they could go have lunch and do some shopping.  Up to her to spend it or even to report it.

Re: 🤔What does it cost for a cut/color at your salon?

Last year it was $100 for cut, color and blowout.  In the fall of 2023 the salon owner switched from Paul Mitchell to Goldwell and jacked it up to $140!  That's quite a jump.  I'm still going, for now, but will have to find another place and go natural when I retire.

$10.99 plus tax for the hair color. I cut my own hair and color my own hair. The funny thing is there have been multiple hairstylists in my family, including my mother. I grew up around it so can do my own hair and others if needed.

Re: 🤔What does it cost for a cut/color at your salon?

had a $90+ salon cut in the spring and have done my own cuts 2x over the summer.  Not bad considering with flat-iron my hair looked precisely cut. (waves and curls hide boo boos)

Gave up coloring 2021.   used to do my own color because salons goofed up my highlights, did my own. Just got sick of root touchups.  Still have all my toners, developers, color. So if the spirit moves me who knows.  Getting bored with it.  My coloring is warm/gold and clashes with gray hair.
