Possibly a card from a friend.  I have to go out later to pick up some meds for my dog so on the way home I may get dinner to bring home.  I have 2 furry friends to give me love at home.

Im not feeling very hearts and roses these days..so I told hubby no no gift.

I woke up to a set of bunny salt and pepper shakers I have been eyeing at the store with a handwritten love note. It made me smile.

I recieved a florist delivery of a dozen long stemmed roses (the same every VD).  While I do appreciate the thought I try to discourage this as like some others have expressed, I feel this holiday pressures the men to do this just because the calendar says so (even though he insists he wants to).  

I have received a pair of gorgeous diamond studs before, but that was in my younger years when I didn't feel the way I now do about VD.

@Kitty Galore Thank you. Pup, Meadow, was my gift on last years wedding anniversary.

Had wanted another dog for some time and it worked out she was ready to go on

our anniversary. This was the biggest Valentine or any card I ever have received,

from husband and pup. Wish I could have her hold a rose too in her mouth! At least

an artificial one! Happy Valentines Day.
