@Q4u Thank you for posting. Tears came to my eyes that people that can afford it can now have that much mobility. I am glad that some can be helped to have a better life. ![]()

Pain pills, especially for women*, with no negative side effects.
* For a long time, pain pills were only tested on men. It wasn't discovered for years that they didn't work the same on women.

Gee I know there would be loud protests about Constitutional rights, people's civil liberties, etc., but I would like to see every dangerous criminal out on parole be implanted with one of those chips that would allow law enforcement to know where they are at all times. For instance, whenever a child goes missing or someone is s*xually assaulted, the police have to waste precious time checking up on all the local s*x offenders and other parolees in the area. If they were all implanted with some kind of chip, that could save a lot of time and money used to canvass all such offenders. Also, it would help the actual parolee not being misidentified for something he didn't do.
Certainly should cut down on repeat offenders since they couldn't lie and come up with a phony alibi or leave the jurisdiction/state without permission from their parole officer.
Actually, I'd like ALL people who have committed dangerous or predatory offenses have the chip whether they are on parole or have served their sentence and been released back into society.
Sigh, this will never happen, but one can dream.
Edited to add: I know chips have been used for some time in pets but with all the hacking going on I think a new type of chip would have to be invented that can't be removed, altered, interfered with, or hacked.

A Dr. McCoy type colonscopy that doesn't require the kind of prep we now do and the aftermath. The doctor would just wave some kind of electronic over you and the whole thing is taken care of at once.

I actually would not give out my idea for free and have someone grab and run with it.

What's heartening is that there are philanthopists out there who buy equipment like this and gift them to veterans and other people (quietly through a charitable organization) who otherwise wouldn't be able to own them! It really does do the heart good to know this.....

I'd like to see technology that completely disables use of cell phones or related devices in moving vehicles. Coming from years working in IT, and understanding the benefits of these devices, I feel the rapid increase in death and horrible injuries caused by these devices simply is not mitigated or overridden by the benefits. However, I know... we can't unring the deadly toll of this bell.

I didn't read back so maybe this has been mentioned but I'd like cars to be equipped with a way to detect a driver who's legally impaired. Now, that's the ultimate safety feature.
