Re: What do you think of ...

Just publicly for her book.

I have thought this about some girls, and women, but it would be so rude to say it or write it.

That it's stupid.

Re: What do you think of ...

My first impression would be that the wearer had some sort of objection against women wearing makeup and wanted to tell everyone about it. I would find it odd. But if I went into a spa and an esthetician was wearing that shirt, I would find it cute and funny.

Re: What do you think of ...

I don't wear slogan tops or clothing/accessories with obvious brand images plastered across them.

I am not a walking billboard for ideals or advertising. Those intentions are private in my heart.

My clothing is feminine, modest and complimentary to my figure.

Yes I am very old fashioned, not very common in today's world; this is my choice, not for everyone and to each their own.

Re: What do you think of ...

Years ago, when I had my babies, the nurses (?) would bring you a warm washcloth every morning to "wash your face."

It was a way of saying, "Wake up and face the day!"

If that's Rachel's meaning, she says it in a very crude way to me!

Would never wear it on my clothes!

I don’t like the saying at all. Seems rather insulting to me, even if that was not her intent. I don’t like “messages” on my clothing either.

To me the saying means, pick yourself up, brush yourself off and start all over again. Nothing new, it's just the younger generation speak and I like it. I'm not a fan of RH clothing line, I doubt if she designs it anyway. I am impressed with what she has accomplished with hard work and no college degree. IMO she is an exceptionally smart woman, nothing small or average about her. I have a feeling she's the type of person you really like or not so much.
