Many seniors have these options.  Why not the children?

Also, isn't there some sort of law re: parents (illegally) not caring for their children, not feeding them, not giving them medical attention, etc. ...........

Someone should start up some sort of food bank or cafeteria services for the youngsters on the weekends. 

Run by volunteers.  There are many potential  volunteers who are waiting to be of service to the children.

@ROMARY , I wonder what the adults that are in the household eat? If they eat, why can't the children eat too?
