the standards.....milk, toilet paper, and bread.....and a little booze never hurts either! Wink

i think we have enough food in our house to last months if i ever could not get out for any reason.

We grocery shop every week on Mondays, always did always will. So we have plenty of food always. Of course since it snows here every other day or every day in PA this winter we have been shopping on different days each week depending on the weather forecast..lol.

LED Lanterns, flameless candles, canned foods such as Spam, canned chicken, tuna, etc., TP, individual bottled water, etc. Having powdered milk handy wouldn't be a bad idea, although I dislike the taste. Maybe with a bit of chocolate syrup, in an emergency. Plenty of unscented baby wipes for freshening.

I wouldn't really need to get anything as we are always well stocked and would have enough for a very long time but I do like to get some snack things to help keep my spirits up.

We're usually okay when it comes to food and water in case of an emergency, but if a storm were to come right before a food shopping day, I would make sure we have enough to eat, of course.

My husband always makes sure we have enough gas for the cars, snow blower, generator, etc.
