@tiny 2,

Sometimes 2 or 3am and I think jeez! Is it not morning yet? And then sometimes I'll just pretend it is, get up and at some point in the real morning take a lovely nap!

I used to tell my mother that all the time when neither one of us could make sense of any thoughts or words-no brain after 4!

ps-my mother and aunts and I have always gotten up around 3am-it must be some rewired genes or something! I would tell my mother jokingly I'd call her at 3 (am).

I still cook and bake. I still sew.  I still decorate for Christmas and cook at Thanksgiving.

I still take time for people by phone or email at home or work.

I stay off social media other than here. I can still dive a stick shift.

I have never once said " Well, I just don't bother any more".

I love my calendar on the side of the fridge.

I use few convenience foods.

We still cook dinner.

I use a lot of sticky notes.

I carry my names and addresses book with me wherever I go. I don't note any of my appointments on my phone or computer; they go on my paper calendar that I hang on the fridge. I keep appointment cards from my primary, dentist, hairdresser in my wallet.

I send handwritten notes and cards for all occasions, including the holidays.

I am not on Facebook or other social media (although I do peek at tik tok for cute animal videos! Smiley Very Happy)

Our land line is still in place; I had to have a cell phone for business many years ago and still have it although I prefer a phone conversation; will text if I have to...

Use mostly my land line, always use it as my contact number if I need to provide it to someone.

Receive a paper bank statement in the mail because I like to settle my checking account manually using a pen and the  calculator on my phone, using the instructions that are on the reverse side of one of the statement pages.

Still use paper calendars with the large day spaces to write my appointments on. Will never get rid of my land line phone. Use a paper address book with everyone’s address and phone number. No kindles for me. A good book is the best. Still cook and bake from scratch. Grow my own veggies then can or freeze them.

I have a cell phone and a landline.  I use a paper calendar and my phone calendar as well.  Still use an answering machine too.

I'm sure there are others things.
