In think in this bad economy I can speak for everyone in saying that mostly all of us have made cut backs in some areas of our spending. But is there anything you refuse to skimp on?
For me its a few things:
My netflixs account. We cut down our dvds by mail from 3 a month to one but that was because we were not watching as much but that is one luxury that would be the last to go. I love movies and my kids really enjoy having the Netlix for kids streaming to the tv and I am grateful for it since you cannot always be sure that the programming on tv is "kid safe". One day while preparing dinner I turned on the tv to cartoon network thinking it would be safe, there was a show on called "Adventure Time" sounds good right? NO WAY. had cuss words galore and people killing people. No thank you!
My Shampoo- Its Wen or nothing. But I always get it when its on deal.
Name brand pop- Dh drinks Mt. Dew, I drink Diet Coke. We tried the store brand and yikes they were gross!
Candles- I LOVE slatkin by bath and body works and Yankee. i also love burning tarts. It one of the little things in life that make me truly happy. having my home smell wonderful and having the calming flickering of a candle is very comforting to me. But again I only buy them when they are on sale.
So what about you?
