For me too, watching the ocean has the best calming effect......

Go to my bedroom, close the door, crawl in my bed after a shower and close my eyes, pray...quiet time in my own personal space.

Truthfully,  the way people  are now I avoid the human race as much as possible. lol

 

I go out, do what I need to and come home to the cats.

 

Too much news, TV goes off and I have a cigarette (yes, I bought a pack) and a wine cooler.

I send DH outside to his garden or his garage.  He gets a lot more upset about things than I do and transmits it to me.
