Freedom to fly our American Flag when and where we choose to in our country!

I don't see that these freedoms ever went away.

No police officer is going to arrest you for saying Merry Christmas.

You are free to display a nativity scene on your property or your church.   Display in public places may walk the line in violating separation of church and state. Nothing has changed in this regard and your freedom to practice your religion is not in jeopardy just as my freedom NOT to practice your religion is safe thanks to the Constitution.

@Newgate I find this very frightening. Where and when did this happen? My town flys many flags, we say Merry Christmas and town park displays Nativity Scene. Can you elaborate where this happening?

I simply love any cause supporting animals. Also, Autism Support and advocating for those kiddos are close to my heart ❤️💕

@Newgate

Have you ever been told not to fly your flag?  I know some home owner associations don't want any decoration, but have YOU ever been told not to?

And who has told you not to say Merry Christmas?

You are worried about things that don't happen.

Re: What cause are you most passionate about?

There is so much need in the world and our communities.   When everyone who is able can contribute in any way,  that is a great thing.

For me,  the cause that I am most involved in is education.

I believe education and access to educational opportunities are an important issue,  as education is really the key to a better life.

My whole career has been about this, and currently I tutor in a college prep program for underrepresented middle and high school students.

I also mentor a high school senior every year  (helping them with their post high school educational plan. )

I am also a volunteer tutor for an elementary school student who I've been with for three years now.

In addition, I try to volunteer for school related activities throughout the year whenever possible.

I've been having problems posting hearts for all of you.

Consider this a big hug for those who care about issues and others.

@september, I guess you by passed my concerns.

I'm sorry, I missed it.  I'm living with someone who demands to go to bed for the night, from early morning, until it actually is bedtime.

Very hard to live my life, get the work done, deal with him, and keep on top of posts here.
