Re: What are your favorite memories of the "Good Old Days"?

My memories of the "good old days"?  Polio epidemics, iron lungs, my father having a heart attack in the early 1960's and waiting 2 hours for an ambulance because there were no such things as Advance Cardiac/Life Support vehicles, living without air conditioning, Cancer being an automatic death sentence.  Need I go on?  Take off the "rose-colored glasses" and really think back.

The "good old days"?  I don't look back.  I look ahead to a better future than we have today.  And that's coming from a 75+ year old senior citizen.
