Re: What are your Easter plans?

We will have a full house. 2 of our children and their families will be here for a traditional meal, prepared by Mom.

I forgot, early Mass Easter Sunday.

Re: What are your Easter plans?

After sunrise Mass and brunch, we are going to see "Bears."

We always see a movie on Easter.

Our son and his family are at Disney with DIL's family. My father backed out because his wife is being a PITA about the holiday. It will just be the 2 of us. We'll go to Mass and out to eat.

Frosty Babe, I cannot stand the smell of Easter lilies either. (but Stargazer lilies are worse)

Disney is FUN at Easter!

We go when it coincides with my friend's time share weeks. The parks are often open from morning until 2 AM. Last year we actually took advantage of every minute and went on the best rides at ALL the parks in one day.

Re: What are your Easter plans?

Exchanging Easter baskets, phone calls to friends and family, and my daughter and I will be cooking Easter dinner.

I got that new Master Cut ham to fix, it comes with red currant glaze with extra for sauce. Trying a new recipe, Gruyere & thyme potatoes Dauphinoise, salad and asparagus. DD is making a Puerto Rican rum-pineapple cake for dessert. Champagne.

Easter Vigil services Saturday night.

Easter champagne brunch at a favorite restaurant, followed by a trip to the beach or a drive through the tulip fields.

I will make a cake for a dessert later in the day.

Re: What are your Easter plans?

No plans for us. We're having lunch out with my dad tomorrow instead of Sunday so it won't be crowded..... not that there would be a huge crowd at the Mexican restaurant we're going to- LOL. Just staying home on Sunday.

Re: What are your Easter plans?

Going to early mass at my usual church, then will go over to my niece's house a bit later and go to her church with her and her family. Two of her children will be singing in the choir. Then back to their house for a lovely Easter dinner. They're awesome people and I love spending time with them.
