piano, most of us have been there done that, and be assured it's not as awful horrible as you may think. the prep is a bummer, and now they've maybe made that easier.

I've always thought that sounded like one of the worst things - that and a mammogram. Haven't had either. I'm rollin' the dice. Smiley Happy

Re: What are some things that you fear?

Prison escapees, for some reason that just struck me as funny.

Bed bugs are definitely one my list, even though I don't know anyone who has had them. The thought scares me.

Mice and roaches. I swear if I saw either one in my house, I'd just pack up and move out.

The thought that either of my girls might move far away from me is enough to give me nightmares. I look at people who have children who live 1000 miles away and I cannot even imagine how awful that must me.

Being poor or even lower middle class in my old age. I don't want to be one of those senior citizens who has to stretch every dollar to make ends meet. When I'm older and retired, I want the same standard of living that I have now. I think we'll be okay....but it scares me to think that may we won't be ok.

Heights! I almost forgot. Or mabye I blocked it out. I don't like heights. I have friend who lives on the 25th floor of a luxury condo building. Her condo is drop dead gorgeous. I hate visiting her! She always opens the vertical blinds that lead out to her patio (for the gorgeous view) and her home is decorated in all whites/tans/pale grays with a lot of glass and shiny metal. All together, I feel like I'm dangling on the edge of a cliff when I'm in her living room. I get nervous, my heart beats faster. It's a terrible feeling. I won't even sit out on my own balcony alone...and my condo is only on the 3rd floor.

Re: What are some things that you fear?

I posted earlier what my "phobias" were.

In RL, it would be outliving any of my children or grandchildren.
