A steady rain is unheard of in Tx.

Cloudy and dark, but, that's good too. In 50's !

Pouring right now in the metro-DC area.  We really need it.  They've said that it won't be enough to get us out of the drought, however.  But every little bit is appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you're getting the rain you need. I'm in Pa. and waiting for it to start here later on. Looks like it's gonna be on and off thru next Wed. and cool, too. We had a very mild winter, snow wise, so now I guess it's gonna be rainy. Anyhow, enjoy it while you have it.

@SharkE   Sounds like an ieal day to me. If I lived next door, I'd find a great place to take a wonderful nap listening to the rain.

@SharkE  So glad you're getting rain! My brother lives in TX, so I know how important it is to you. We are expecting a possible 3 inches here in eastern PA. So glad for it, because we were approaching drought level. I just love a spring rain! The grass, plants and trees are so many shades of green, and the trunks of the trees are black with the rain. Sorry for those who have outdoor weekend plans, but that's April for you.
