 I have a few network prime time series I follow, but it's been months since anything was new.  Mostly the Chicago shows.

For the longest time I was addicted to HGTV ... now it's either Smithsonian or Food networks.  I especially like Bobby Flay and his daughter's new show.

"I don't Watch Television"  this is what i would say as  teen, i was too cool for TV lol.  As a young mother, I would tell the would-be babysitter we had all the cable channels. "I don't watch TV" she replied.  

TBH i don't know that i could quit watching TV.  i think my ex and i tried that decades ago as an experiment. we lasted 5 days!   i love my streaming channels, AMZ, NTFX, Disc+...i love streaming YouTube !

ME???    I "wear out" TV sets fast, because mine is on 24/7.   I need "background noise" even to sleep!!!!

Only time it is off is when I'm reading (at least 3 books a week).

I also use the TV as background noise. I like watching the channels that play all of the old TV shows like metv, cozi, antennae and decades tv.

My TV goes on almost as soon as I get up. It keeps me company. I just enjoy it.

I was really into some show when my husband showed up and wanted to know if we could turn it to the news show he likes, while we eat dinner.  I just said, "pretend it's football".  LOL  Message received.  No big deal.

We usually do change it over to the news show.  But I was in too deep into the show. It was pretty soon over, and we got to see some of the news show.  It wasn't a total loss. LOL.

I watch news, some hgtv, TCM, Hallmark, the Q.  But our TV is always on when we are home.  I don’t have Netflix, and don’t watch many series.  We do watch old shows on cozi, Metv.  Used to be a NCIS fan.  Pay a lot for cable and watch just a few channels. 

We had a previous manager that didn’t own a TV, and she had children.  

I wouldnt ever think anyone would lie, just different interests.  When people binge watch an entire weekend, ok, that’s just not what we would do.  No interest in that for me.
