Re: What, You Don’t Watch TV

This past Sunday with football starting I did watch three games in a row then turned it off at my usual bedtime.  Other than football or something like what is happening with the Queen's passing I only watch about 2 hours every evening.  I do not turn it on even more than that on the weekends.  I prefer to read.

Love watching tv.  I always say that in my next life I will return as a critic.

Re: What, You Don’t Watch TV

My next door neighbors with 3 children don't even own a TV.  May be a religious thing.  They do have computers though since they had to use them for school during the pandemic and I believe they had them before, so maybe there's some streaming going on.

I keep the TV on all the time.  It doesn't mean I'm actively watching it all the time.  I like the noise in the background.  In fact, I hate the quiet when it's not on.  However, I want it quiet except the sounds of nature when I'm outside.  A lot of the time I'm doing something on my computer while the TV is on and if I'm trying to solve a problem, I don't even hear what's going on on the TV.  There's less and less these days I even want to actually watch, and I'm not interested in streaming on my computer because I want my computer available while I'm watching.  I guess my grandson inherited some of that.  He's a computer nerd.

Re: What, You Don’t Watch TV

I live alone and I like to have the tv on, in a weird way it keeps me company (especially QVC where you feel like the hosts are friends).
