What Would You Write in a Card?

So I agreed to write notes to deployed service members and don't want to be repeating myself with them so what would you write in a blank card?

@ThinkingOutLoud    A kind act for sure! You could say "Stay safe", "Thank you for your service", "In our prayers", "Come home safely".......

Thinking of our service members today and hoping you are well and not in harm's way.  Each of you serve every day to protect us and defend our country from those who would do us harm.

I send this card to express my gratude for tell you that my thoughts and prayers for your safety and well being are being sent your way daily!

Thank you and best wishes

Re: What Would You Write in a Card?

If you have the first names of each service member. I would say thier name.

and let it come from the heart. Thanking them for thier service and that they are always in your heart and prayers. and thier family too.

I did something simular years ago. But I was given names and sent care boxes.

My son was deployed 7 times. I wrote a lot of letters to my son and sent care packages. That he shared with everyone in his unit

Write him a note as if it were your own son or grandson.  At the end of your message, then thank him for what he is giving up at the present so you can enjoy your present and it's his gift to you.  Do thank him, of course.  They truly are your family, because in some round about way, we all adopt each other and become family.  Thank you for doing this.

Re: What Would You Write in a Card?

@ThinkingOutLoud   As the mother of an active duty member who has been frequently deployed (just returned to his home base 2 months ago), I want to thank you so much for this.  Heart  What to write?  Perhaps,

"Hello, I wanted to send you a note to let you know how much you are thought of, missed and prayed for.  Thank you for your service and your sacrifices it does make a difference.  Please stay safe. Please know that we care."
