The irony of this is - it is very good and healthy thing for expectant mothers to walk as much as possible and the closer they get to delivery the better it is that they walk.
As for those with babies and toddlers - aren't they almost always in a stroller - now I can understand wider spaces for getting the child safely in and out of the car.
