My oldest sister and I were talking earlier in the day, and she told me that she wanted to have a bay window installed with a seat in her living room. When she had her home built in '84, her builders installed one huge window about seven feet wide. I told her that it probably would cost her over twenty grand because of the large size.

Meanwhile, she also was thinking about central AC. Since July was the hottest ever on record, its become necessary for the AC. She has a four bedroom house and five window units would be ugly.

My advice to her was to forget the bay window, and concentrate on getting the central air. Was I correct? She has a ranch with oil heat.
