Here's an interesting article on the campaign:
"Ades Stone added, 'We’ve had a few people comment that if we were kicking Andrew Jackson off the bill, he should be replaced by a Native American...'
...Matthew Wittmann, a curator at the American Numismatic Society, which is dedicated to studying currency... pointed out that, in the nineteenth century, before paper bills became prevalent, most of the money in circulation were coins that did picture a woman: Lady Liberty. There have also been coins featuring Susan B. Anthony and Sacagawea, though they haven’t gotten much use..."

From the 3 options given, I'd vote for Rosa Parks.
I'd also vote for Pocahontas

Here's the website for voting:
"Below are 15 candidates for you to consider in this first Primary Round of voting. You may vote for 3 on the ballot. The top 3 vote-getters will advance to the Final Round. When that begins, you may return and vote again.
These candidates were chosen from a field of 30 through a vigorous survey process involving more than a dozen women’s historians and academicians."

I'd love to see a Native American woman chosen.
oh so would I. Seems that group always gets left out of everything in this country.

In today's climate? Never happen ... Rosa Parks would get my vote.
Hi Sox,
I agree, but she gets my vote.
So many great choices and those not mentioned on the list.
Maybe all the money denominations should be changed???
Stay warm, take care.
