We all wore Danskins with the matching wrap skirts back in the 70's! (the women!)

Ha! Ha!  I was referring to my Mom wearing bobby socks in her day and introducing me to her music in 1973 with the soundtrack of American Graffiti.

Your right about the late 70's I had the most beautiful baby blue satin pants with matching shirt and high spiked heels.  I loved that outfit and of course BIg Big hair since it was that time period and I live in Texas!!

I LOVE the Dan Hartman song "I Can Dream About You." The long version has an instrumental intro that practically puts me in a trance!

Anything from the Gap Band! I listen to the 70's all the time, and any time I hear one of their songs, it makes me feel like Dancing! Also K.C. and The SunShine Band!

Relight My Fire on the LP version has on side B the instrumental version called Vertigo. Really good to listen to.

Brick House by the Commodores was my theme dance! lol. And of course all of the songs in Saturday Night Fever! I practiced those dances extensively after seeing the movie! lol. Well there are many many more! I used to dance (for fun) from way back then until my spine surgery in 2001. I love music, and I loved dancing, and I miss dancing!

Great finds ladies!

Oh boy...in a strange way, it almost makes me cry how much I miss the fun I had with these tunes...dancing it up on the weekends.

Kinda bittersweet...GREAT memories, but depressing getting old. I would give anything to find a time machine, go back to that period and bring my DH with me!!!

Jazzy remember Huchapoo tops...they were that danskin material I think.   Were they popular only in NY or all over?

Thanks so much everyone....I really enjoyed reading this thread...brought back some GREAT memories.
