I'm back. Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer and Big Time, both with great clamation videos. Genesis, Invisible Touch; Steve Winwood, Higher Love; Glass Tiger, Don't Forget Me; and who could forget Wang Chung, Everybody Wang Chung Tonight.

I found a recent version of Hall & Oats "I Can't Go For That" (2012) recorded at Daryl Hall's home studio. It features Cee Lo Green. Man, can Cee ever reach those high notes. It is also interesting to see Daryl 30 + years later.

We must be at or near the same age!  I danced to all these songs at a club in NJ called Aldo's Hideaway.  I was there every Friday night and sometimes Saturdays too!  They played the best 80's alternative dance music.  Unfortunately the club burned down a few years ago and so did the wish of visiting one day when I'm in NJ visiting.  I live in CO now.  Great list!

Just call me Lulu the Killjoy.  I hated the disco versions of previous hit songs.

I was watching the rerun of last night's Tavis Smiley show this morning and he was interviewing Charlie Wilson, formerly of the GAP band.  That brought to mind this classic:
