For me, hands down, it was my Tonka dump truck.
I loved playing in the dirt!
I also loved riding my bike, roller skating, and my swing set.
One Christmas I got a microscope set, and I remember having fun seeing thing under the scope.
Also, I got this:
and I would spend hours building little projects.
It appears that my parents were teaching me STEM, long before that acronym was coined!😊
But then again, my parents were always ahead of their time.
For example, they installed a car seat for me when I was an infant, long before it became law to do so.
The family van only had lap belts, so Dad installed shoulder seat belts.
My parents did this in the early 1970's.
But, I digress.
I had dolls too, like Baby-Wets-A-Lot, where you would feed it a bottle of water, then she would "pee" her diaper.
I was curious as to how the doll worked, so I, uh, removed the doll's head.😮😄
Maybe it's a good thing that I didn't have kids!😄
I also had generic "Barbie" like dolls, but I was never really interested in them.
So, what were some of your favorite childhood toys?

I played outside a lot and rode my bike everywhere but even though I was a bit of a Tom-boy, I still liked my barbies and baby dolls. I got a "creepy crawlers" maker for Christmas one year and made a lot of those. I always like board games and card games. I guess I wasn't very picky. I'd play with anything.

I loved dolls, but Barbie was my absolute favorite. The clothes back then were beautiful and l'll never forget the gold lame strapless dress with the matching fur trimmed coat.

Dolls .... I had lots of dolls.
My mother taught me to knit, crochet. embroider and sew when I was very young - pre-school.
I had the best dressed dolls in New York!
And ... I never stopped knitting, crocheting, sewing and doing embroidery - 70+ years later.
