Re: What TV shows do you watch regularly?

Anything on Masterpiece on PBS, Other British mysteries on PBS (currently loving Vera, as well as Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries), The Newshour, The Middle, The Goldberg's, Modern Family. That's pretty much it for my regular viewing.

On broadcast TV we watch:

Blue Bloods

Grimm

The Middle

DH loves: Last Man Standing and Grantchester I don't care for either one of these.

On satellite we have no favorites and wonder why we even keep it.

Grantchester was infuriating to watch. The lead guy is such a screw up, and the only thing I liked was his friendship with the detective. A one-night stand, not committing to the woman he loves, cheating on another one...what a guy.
Oh, I love Grantchester. Yes, his personal life is a bit of a wreck, but he's got a backstory. The woman he loves is being forced by her family to marry another man. She loves him too, but her father doesn't approve of Sidney. He's still madly in love with her. Also, he has bad memories from being a soldier in WWII. He's dealing with a lot of personal demons. I think the plots are great, and the lead actor is very cute. Smiley Happy

Shark Tank, The Voice, Idol, Dancing with the Stars, HGTV at times, Hallmark movies occasionally, college basketball. I don't watch the news as much anymore as it's so depressing. See enough of it on-line.

I think the actor is fine, but I'm sick of every show featuring people that aren't just flawed, they're flaming disasters. Keeping the other woman around and then cheating on her was a last-straw thing for me. He just seems totally incapable of figuring out anything besides a mystery involving a dead body, and when he asked his love why she was marrying the other guy, she simply said, "He asked." That makes him a coward, too.
