With the repeal of the Windfall Act my DH will be getting his full amount of SS. He paid in before he went to work at a State job and paid in after he retired for a private sector business. They took over 50% of his SS and now we will start to receive it. That will be really nice since things are so expensive. Congrats to all who will be getting a raise.

DH is so happy to be among the retired that he would probably take me back to Vegas for Christmas if I asked....hummm. Maybe I'll test that theory tonight. Well maybe next year if my back improves with PT.

He's been working on a tree stump all day today. Me: just pay someone $200 and save yourself the pain you're going to feel tonight. Him: Why? I don't have to go to work tomorrow and I'm having fun.

@monicakm , Bless your DH's heart. Let him have his fun....he's able to do it and that, in itself, is a blessing from above. I hope your back gets better and will keep you in my prayers. Merry Christmas to you and you family.
