Having lots of money.

You would think that money would make you happy. I saw a story this morning (GMA I think) about people who have won the lottery big time. Someone blew through his money in 4 years and now owes the IRS 11/2 million dollars (he and his wife wish now they had ripped up the tickets). Another man was murdered for his money and a woman is going to be on trial soon. Money is nice but may not led to happiness.

I know. If I were to win the Powerball, I'd have it be known that if anything happens to me, ALL of my money, 100% of it is going to charities.

In other words, it wouldn't pay (literally and figuratively) to kill me, because you won't be getting one red cent.

For me it's:

  • spending time with my dad
  • being with my kitty-cats
  • curled up with a good book
  • watching television
  • listening to a storm
  • a warm, sunny day
  • watching the ocean
  • watching wildlife

@Plaid Pants2  We have several in common (I highlighted them from your list in bold/underlined).

Our lists would be nearly exactly the same, however, my Dad has passed away a few years ago, I haven't heard the ocean in years since I moved away from Branford CT to Lincoln NE when I got married...so land locked and I wish we could have cats...

I will add gardening...especially for our Hummingbirds! Smiley Very Happy

Nature, and specifically the first signs of spring, after a long winter: The first crocuses pushing through, and birds chirping outside of an open window.

Living my present life does it for me.

A day when there is nothing on my calender, and I don't have a messy house to deal with at home. A day I can do whatever I want. Even better if DH has somewhere to go and isn't home wanting breakfast and lunch. When I can just turn on the radio and do as I please.
