What Kind Of WILDLIFE Do You See In Your Yards?

DH and I were happy to see our first cottontail rabbit yesterday. They've used one of our large shrubs (we're not sure what it is) as a bunny hutch for the past 10 years or so, and there's always a family even if they don't often make an appearance together. We regularly see deer, too, as there's an apple orchard behind the house. Woodchucks are also common, and we like the way they tend to sit on the berm with their feet extended--like little bears.

The other evening I peeked out the window to see what was going on and saw what I thought was a cat under one of our ornamental trees. I turned on the outside light and noticed that it was a skunk{#emotions_dlg.scared}. There have been plenty of times when we opened the windows at night to get some fresh air, sink into bed, then.....have to get up to close the windows thanks to the skunks. We hear coyotes at night, too. I don't even want to think about them.
