Hi John,
I am sorry to hear that happened. I took a look at your previous posts on this thread and I am not seeing that they have been edited by us. If you experience this issue again, please e-mail us at QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com.

I see it as nothing to get excired about, just read the directions and do as they say.

Mousegirl, they all pose the same risk. Aspirin, Aleve, ibuprofen, Celebrex, Mobic, Indocin., and on and on.
I would assume so, Reba, but I have only experienced Aleve.

Hi biancardi,
The posts to which I am were referring to in my last post wete on this very same topic. No politics/religion/bad words or phrases.
What was edited out was a continuation of me explaining, via my own health experiences, what I had to in regards to NSAIDS and blood thinners(Coumadin/Warfarin) prior to my back surgery and another invasive procedure to have a Vena Cava Filter installed to help prevent PE.
I remember very distinctly what I wrote as in it I mentioned why I had to do these things, and my friend the Spinal Surgeon, that suggested I do this prior to him doing the surgery. He said he would not do the surgery until imhad been off NSAIDS and Blood Thinners for 10 days priornto removing my ruptured L-3 lumbar disc.
He suggested since I somehow already had survived 2 bouts with the deadly PE, having a Greenfield Vena Cava Filter installed, would greatly reduce the risks of PE during the ruptured disc removal.
Do you find anything I just typed above needing to be removed from a thread in which it is "on topic", and a factual personal experience I know only because my back Surgeon also happens to be a good friend of mine?
That is why it was quite easy for me to remember exactly what I put in my post, and it was edited out by someone, and that someone was not me.
My personal health problems, to my knowledge, are not against any Community Standards that I have ever read in regards to this Bulletin Board, and that is why I am bothered by someone removing a well thought out and well written recountingnof my personal experience which is directly "on topic" in those specific threads.
Thank you for your comments
Is it possible you're thinking about your post in the similar thread in "Wellness"?
The thread is "Pain Medications,"
specifically your Post #13:

Especially anyone over 65. They would just as soon like us off SS because of the baby boomer generation getting the benefits now.
I am not a conspiracy theorist usually, but I sometimes can't help but wonder, especially with what the life insurance company is doing to me now. They actually don't want me to die, because they are on the cusp of terminating my life insurance policy. They have doubled the premium since I turned 75 that I've had since 1995. They have also told me I have to pay the difference between what it used to cost them to maintain my policy and what it is costing them now because I'm so old. Of course they don't actually say that.
I've posted about this before but that is probably gone and I'm not going to go into it again, but I see it coming. Some choice, either die now so my kids can get the insurance proceeds, or keep paying more and more into it which they can terminate at any time anyway. They've made many thousands on that policy already and they want to continue to make more and then terminate it. What a nice windfall for them.

I took Advil regularly for several years and the doctor advised me to get off of it because my blood pressure went way up and my lower extremities swelled up. My doctor himself had a cerebral hemorrhage from Advil so he is off of it too. Most recently, I have an injury to my foot and I was taking Aleve and the orthopedist advised me to get off of it because it made my feet swell. I take 2 Aspirin per day for an anti inflammatory and otherwise take Tylenol and Tramadol for pain. I have Sciatica and herniated discs so I have a lot of pain sometimes. I have to stay away from Advil and Aleve.

My trainer is getting his doctorate in physical therapy.
He told me NOT to take ANY painkillers when I'm sore - he said it slows down healing.
I never ask for details...now I see why he told me that!

Aspirin takes down inflammation and with that the pain as well. On occasion I take one dye free 81 mg and if something is really bothering me I'll take 3 more. That's it. Helps me with everything from sore throat to a toothache as well as the occasional muscle sprain.

You need to talk to your doctor.
Everything we take comes down to benefit vs risk.
There's a risk in LIVING!

From what I understand this is "new" news! Prior to this announcement, thought this was only suspected......now they are saying it's more than a suspicion.
Since I read medical journals, it is not news to me. I could be incorrect that it's not been common knowledge, but I thought it was.
