Scottie- That is the point, she IS teaching them how to be good defense lawyers.

I liked watching the show and to see where the season goes. She knows how to poke wholes in our justice system for sure. She is a master manipulator.

Yes, get them off even if you have to break the law. Which she, and at least two others, obviously did.

Question ...... The scene where the student went to her office (or home?) and disturbed her with the detective ...... at one point she picked up the phone and scolded someone for not locking up .... any idea who she was talking to? {#emotions_dlg.confused1}

I read that it was Frank. That could be a clue...he might have left and hoped to get back before she found out he was gone.

Now I'm confused. I'm pretty sure when she called she said "Frank, you forgot to lock up again when you left."

There really was no mystery.

Re: What Did You Think of 'How To Get Away With Murder'?

I just watched last night. I rather liked it. I'm sticking around.

First of all - I also thought it was 'rabbit'...like in - they were doing it all the time.

I have a feeling that things are not as they seem. As somebody else mentioned, I cannot help but wonder if this 'murder' is an exercise for the class. I don't know. But I'm ok with that for now. If the whole storyline dragged out for more than a season I would not be ok with it, however.

There is just so much here. I hope they do it well. One episode does not (as a rule) a show make. Smiley Happy

I love Viola Davis. She is such a great actor and so beautiful.

I find that, with dark shows, it's easier to watch them at night when the room is dark. Otherwise, the light in the room or coming into the room makes it impossible to see what's going on, on the screen.

I also found it rather disappointing that Viola Davis' character (married) was having an affair with someone she later called as a witness and thinks nothing of it.
