I love all Christmas music, but three of my favorites:

The absolute worst are Mariah Carey All i want for Christmas, and George Michael"Last Christmas". Ugh! They have already started playing both of them on one of the stations here; 24/7 Christmas music. I will be tired of all of it by the time Christmas

Day is here. Madonna's Santa Baby is also one that I think is awful.

Oh Holy Night is the essence of the religious celebration of Christmas, in my opinion. When I hear Josh Groban sing it, I'm very moved.

The favorite of the secular songs is I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas. But for all that nostalgia, I'm also a big fan of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer! Go figure!

Christmas music is pretty upbeat, it's sentimental, and it starts and ends being played everywhere without getting to the "enough, already" stage. Just about when I've heard all the songs all the time, it's over.

I guess I get a big kick out of Christmas, though I confess I don't decorate at all, indoors or out. New York City really does Christmas all the way in so many neighborhoods.

My favorite is Karen Carpenter's "Merry Christmas Darling" and a 2nd favorite is "Silver Bells".

But in the shower I sometimes sing "Up On The Housetop", "Jingle Bells", "Winter Wonderland", or "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", year round Lol.

@Trailrun23 I also mentioned those two in my post! The first time I heard Carrie and her son Isaiah was after she mentioned having so much fun doing this duet because she wanted to capture his tiny voice, and of course he wanted to sing with her!!! She said she had the means to make it happen, and it's a special watch on YouTube for anyone who hasn't seen it already

And since you already love Mary Did You Know... if you haven't already watched Pentatonix sing it, YouTube has that beauty of a song too. Their voices harmonize so magically. I have enjoyed this group since they were babes lol.
