Re: What Are You Reading --- November 2014

P.D. James: RIP. There will be many re-reads waiting for me.

Re-visited a book of Walt Whitman poems, which I adore.

Just started Preston & Child's Blue Labyrinth. Love anything with "Pendergast" in it. Always bits and pieces of informata contained within their books. Lots of fun.

Will follow with Anne Perry's 2014 Christmas entry, A New York Christmas, followed by A Play of Isaac, by Margaret Frazer.

Happy Reading!

Just ptb on John Kenney's Truth In Advertising. Glad I won this book and didn't buy it. Guess I'm just not into advertising.

Going to read Lorna Landvik's Best To Laugh.

Hi Lilysmom and all. I thought I would bring my reply here instead of the original post. I' so glad you enjoyed Stephen King's REVIVE. That ending - shades of H.P. Lovecraft! I think he's an underrated writer. You hit the nail on the head when you pointed out that his his stories are usually all different. I like that he has gone back to his less ''wordy'' way of writing. I have several books on my nightstand including LET ME FRANK WITH YOU, CITIZEN'S CREEK, THE BURNING ROOM and several by Marilynne Robinson. Time to get busy!
