Re: What Are You Reading --- March 2014

Finished LIsa Lutz's The Last Word. Very fast moving and enjoyable as w/her others but the footnotes are a distraction as always. Anyone reading this series, needs to read it in order to understand. I know I wanted to refer back to the other 5 too since I read them all a while back.

Onto Nora Roberts Dark Witch (#1 in new series).

I finished THE TRAITOR'S WIFE by Allison Pataki. It is historical fiction based on the life of Benedict Arnold. The story had good pace, holding my interest throughout. I really enjoyed it.

Re: What Are You Reading --- March 2014

I had started The Confession (John Grisham) but found I wanted it to be a trilogy of A Time to KIll and Sycamore Row so stopped reading...maybe that will happen in 5 years!

I am now reading UNBROKEN by Laura Hillenbrand and only on Chapter 3 but was pulled in immediately and am going to complete this book!! Love her writing and style!!

You can't help but like it. And it's true! That's the astounding part.

I am a quarter through Sycamore Row by John Grisham and am enjoying it. However, they just introduced a bunch of lawyers and interested parties. I wonder if I can keep them all straight. I haven't read a Grisham novel in eons.

I wanted to read it before the movie is released and movie trailers start playing. That ALWAYS ruins a book for me!

DON'T ""Google"" or look up anything about the book's true history until you are finished reading!

sky, linders, and judaline Re: Unbroken, I read it and loved it a couple years ago. One of the best books I ever read, truly! I knew absolutely nothing about the event(s) or the man at the time. I wish I had "made" my dh it before now. I'm trying to get my hands on it again for him this time, before more info and trailers keep showing about the movie. That drives me crazy when they do that!
