tansy - I was so interested in the topic and the issues. But I agree, the main character was lacking in something to me. I really think Grisham can do better.

I personally think this is probably her best; it was funny(Madeline was a riot!) and compelling all at the same time. Could not put it down

Just got "First Frost" by Sarah Addison Allen from the library. I love her books. Hope this one is as good as "Garden Spells."

I also just finished "The Girl on the Train.". A quick and interesting read. If you liked "Gone Girl" and its twists, you will like this one, too.
