Just finished a smokin' hot tell-all; THE RESIDENCE by KATE ANDERSEN BROWER. My local B&N store is completely sold out. Fascinating & a great diversion from my usual psychological mystery thillers I continue to devour. Eye opening & entertaining!

DiAnne, Halen Coben's novels are pretty tame,the ones I've read are really good. He is a keeper!

I finished Paper Towns by John Green and Elizabeth is Missing by Emma Healy. I enjoyed both. Having read Still Alice recently, I think I'm done with books on dementia for awhile.

Next up, A Spool of Blue Thread by Anne Tyler.

Just finished Blinded by Stephen White. I have read quite a few of his books. This was good, not great IMO. LM

I just received and finished the memoir Born with Teeth by Kate Mulgrew. Very well done but a little choppy at times. It's not your typical memoir. Kind of vignettes of private decisions and personal choices that led her along the way to different times in her life. Nice read if you are interested in being a fly on the wall for someone else's journey and totally uninterested in the Hollywood gossip because there isn't any which is a nice change from the usual celebrity bio.

I also just had a chance to read Marlo Thomas' book that came out a few years ago called It Ain't Over til it's Over. Again, lots of vignettes of different stories from women who came to turning points in their lives and how they handled them. Very inspiring and insightful.

I guess I am on a nosy kick with reading about other people's lives but I have to say I found a few good ones lately. Kind of nice to see how others handle their stuff.

Oh, I'm so happy to read that Kate Mulgrew has a book out! I used to love her on "Ryan's Hope"--her and the Jack Finelli (?) character. Thank you for posting this info.

It's very good. And it is that time period she goes most in depth about although it's really not about the work aside from the lifelong friends she made there. Her book is truly all about her personal stuff for the most part and not in a salacious way either. It's very honest. Highly recommended for us bio peeps.
