CROEMER, you sold your antique armoire?  What?????  Never selling my antiques, no way!  Are you and SCOTTIE and Emma behaving?  Hmmmm, will have to see for myself, uh-oh!

I loved the armoire but it did not fit any where in our home Shell. I do have my favorite one from the LBJ Ranch we bought over 25 years ago. Now that one would be hard to turn loose. I have it in our library and just love it. I really hate to get rid of any antiques but when it no longer fits in a room then I had to let this one go.

@Drythe  Your Panthers are still bulldozing their way through the NFC... you must be doing a happy dance!  My Pats hit a rough patch (Woman Frustrated) a couple of weeks back, and our injuries continue to mount, but we're hanging in there (commence the crossing of the fingers)!

@AliJoi5

Thank you for thinking of me!  We are really happy.  Have been a big fan since the team started, there've been some very long, and depressing seasons, so would love to see them keep ON POUNDING!

What a great runner you sent in his pale blue helmet!  Heart

I'm sure the PATS will be in for the finish.  Nothing succeeds like success!

Re: What Are You Doing Today?......

Thanks @Stray!  Me too!!  And the #1 seed also gets home field advantage throughout the playoffs, so it's very important.  But we shall see.  The Bengals are right on our heels and they're playing well, even though they lost Dalton.  The Broncos lost today and are now 2 games behind, which is big because they would have the tie breaker against us.

Yes, Beckham is very exciting to watch (though I hate playing him Smiley Surprised)... I think his emotions just got the best of him today.  It happens!

@AliJoi5-  yes, he was frustrated and they came so close.  We have not had the best season but we manage to play the really good teams well?  Go figure.  I met Tom Brady back in 2000; I sat next to him at an event.  He was so young and very nice.  His NYC apartment was near where I worked and I saw him often, mostly off season...he was always very nice and polite...and, of course easy on the eyes and when the Pats are on and healthy beautiful to watch.  I love football and Brady gives his all....the Pats are a class act.  I hope Edelman is able to play soon and Hightower....tho I am a Giant fan because of where I live, I have a sentimental attachment to your team and I love when the come to NJ and of course there is the Rutgers connection too...always a great game when the Pats in Town.  Good Luck!

Re: What Are You Doing Today?......

Love to talk football so thanks for the great convo @Stray!  Wow, it's pretty cool that you met Brady.  Of course, I agree with (and appreciate) everything you said.  I know we're not well-liked in the league (or BY the league, for that matter... lol), and I understand.  But it's great to hear that others outside of New England do respect this organization as much as we do.  And, yes, Edelman has so much heart... serious mental toughness too.  Can't wait to have him back!

And you know we have respect for your Giants round these parts... let's not even get into that!  Bad memories!!  Woman SurprisedWoman Wink

 @AliJoi5- yes, there is a rivalry but it is respectful.  I was at the last game and we all say the NE fans are great, never any issues and we sit next to each other and have fun.  I won't mention which teams or I will start an argument but we dread some fans that come to our stadium.  Even the players appear friendly to each other.  We love to watch Brady practice and Gronk warm up...a great team and people don't like them because they are consistently good and confident.  I am hoping they go all the way!

Did a 2 hour workout at the gym, then met the girls for lunch at a fabulous restaurant. Came home and wrapped Christmas presents.
