What A Miserable Sloppy Day !!

Here in NE PA we had about 2 inches of snow starting late yesterday afternoon. That was ok, it was the 3 or 4 hours of sleet on top of it that made it such  a mess.

We now have inches of slush with slippery mud under it.

DD and I went out about 1:00 to take recycling and do a couple errands. She parked close to the porch steps and kept a death grip on my arm to go a whopping 4 feet to the car. If this freezes tonight I will not be venturing out. Not a fan of walking on ice.

Did you get any of this last round of "stuff"?

We lucked out in Jan. and Feb. snow and yukky weather wise, March might make up for it.

We got a dusting of snow here in Western PA but we got hit with horrible high winds all night and today. We had over 7000 homes without power this morning...no electric, no heat....  Our wind speed indicator showed 30mph.....

Not in NC, but I've had quite a lot of that weather.  Please stay in.  You can't save yourself when you fall.

Sorry, it's been a nice sunny day here, and most of our last snow has melted. Mostly in the mid 50's, really not bad.  =^..^=

I know nothing about Snow, besides a few visits over the yeas to the mountains. However, I am thinking back to shows that I have seen in the past where QVC has those shoes that look like crocks that go over your shoes. Have you tried those? It might be helpful when walking on ice.

@hckynutjohn In the 60's south of you in Oklahoma and thank God the tornadoes are gone for a while!  They tore up a lot and 1 was killed last week.

There is so much snow this mornig  in Reno its unbelievable.  It is still snowing and since we rarely see a snow plow who knows if anyone will be able to go anywhere. How is it where you live
